Southwest Virginia Ballet is excited to announce the opening of its very own school!
The opening of School of Southwest Virginia Ballet is a dream come true for SVB Artistic Director Laurence Blake, and SVB Founder Emeritus Tess Post. Mrs. Post will serve as Director of the non-profit school.
The School of Southwest Virginia Ballet provides excellence in dance instruction for all age levels and offers classes for students starting at age 4 (pre ballet) through Advanced levels. Whether the student’s goal is a career in dance, performing at the preprofessional level with Southwest Virginia Ballet Company, or dance for recreation and exercise, SVB offers the opportunity for students to be taught by highly experienced and qualified teachers. Careful attention and evaluation are given to each student in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
